A Curve Inspired by Feitian
The design takes its cue from a single corner of a Feitian ribbon, using a pure curve to express an impression of movement and natural flow. In the finished stick, that idea reads as a smooth shaft that opens into a wider, undulating form before narrowing to a fine point. We like it in a low bun or loose twist, where the curve can sit above the hairline and catch the light. A qipao (旗袍) with a clean neckline also lets the warm wood tone stand out.
Wood Color and Grain
Weiao huangtan is a dense rosewood with wide natural variation. Pieces range from medium to deep brown, and the grain can run straight, ripple, or shift in tone across a single stick.
